Random Acts of Kidness by Brandie Olesen

So, as a child I was constantly being told to get my finger out of my nose. Every so often I would even be caught eating what I was picking. There was something oddly comforting about finding a booger and seeing how the texture would be with the particular one I had found. As a biology major who has learned that mucus is made up of DNA and salt, (imagine a hoighty toighty accent) I have no insecurities of repeating my childhood actions.
I picked my nose and ate my boogers.
