Plagiarize Yourself by K!

May 25th, 2007 12:03 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Plagiarize yourself.

I figured that to plagiarize myself, I would have to use something that I had published. Well, I've only ever had one thing published, and it was this poem I wrote and entered into a contest when I was about 12 years old. The poem is very deep and nobody ever understands it... I didn't win a huge prize, but I did get the poem published in a big anthology with I think all the contestant's poems in it. And then they asked if I wanted to buy it but it was really expensive... anyway. I would tell you the name of the book, except a) I don't remember and b) if I cited my source, it wouldn't be plagiarism now, would it?

"Leaves"

Leaves are falling from the tree
One by one they fall
They turn colors red and brown
And fall from the tree so tall

None has a name, no way to tell one
From all the others that fall
They all fall for one reason, one season
All fall from the tree so tall

Autumn comes; down they go
It's just a part of fall
They fall down and winter comes
They fall from the tree so tall

Winter comes; the leaves are gone
There's no more green at all
The leaves have all blown away since
They fell from the tree so tall

Spring always comes; new leaves grow
Life comes back after all
Though we'll never forget the trees that fell
Down from the tree so tall

you are not really plagiarizing your self...you are just pasting the poem here....I think this task requires more

back into character:
ENOUGH WITH CONTRUCTIVE COMMENTS...IT SUCKS...NO FUCKING VOTES!!!

Ouch

What IS plagiarism but pasting information without citing its source? I am not sure what else this task would require, especially since its instructions are only two words long and it's a level one task.
