To add my word, I began to think about what is most important to me. Friends, family, music, and other things all came to mind, but most important is my faith and my God. I believe He has given all these things to me and more importantly my salvation. I am a Christian, so I wanted to choose a Hebrew word from the Old Testament that emphasized what is most important to me about my God.

I found Yehoshua, which means "the Lord is my salvation". For me, this embodies what is most important about my God, that He grants salvation to me on a personal level. I found the translation here: http://www.jewfaq.org/name.htm
