Invent a New Word by Delenalla Lexaria

September 12th, 2007 7:02 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Invent a new word, come up with a realistic sounding meaning.

Use the word in common everyday sentences; define for those who inquire.

Task is complete when someone else starts using your word.

Task not yet complete, but heres what is finished so far:

Chimarius- To behave as or through in action act similarly to the behavior or idea of a Chimera.
Pronunciation: (k-eye-mare-ee-us)
Ex:
Def 1: Adjective: “You are so chimarius.”
OR “She behaved in a chimarius fashion.
Def 2: To behave in a double-minded manner.
Def 3: To be indecisive, or act crudely while trying to form a decision.
Def 4: To be unable to form a decision due to multiple or equally attractive outcomes.

I plan to use this frase at work and home as much as possible while describing things. I'll post as soon as I can when I hear others using the word.
