Alternative Medium Art by The Revelator, Kisb, Clarity
March 10th, 2007 8:17 PM
Kisb, Clarity and Revelator made under-the-sea themed art out of food. Our materials included rice, tortilla chips, tomato juice, flour paste, oatmeal, food coloring, seaweed, water, strawberry jam, and water.
Jokingly, the meaning of the bottle of tomato juice with the under-the-sea theme is "The Feminine." Women are connected with the ocean in classical literature and art, such as Venus and the clamshell for instance. The tomato juice of course represents menstration. Yeah. Ha.
The pictures start out as in-progress materials, partial art projects and finished products.
Finished products include the Under the Sea Bottle, King of Katamari Gets Eaten By Shark, I'm A Starfish!, Kitchen Striations and Pineapple Can With Under-The-Sea Life.

the penis is great. I am not going to vote at all, though. just hilarious
...but I'm voting because of the inflatable penis in the background.
