Album - Queensryche: Greatest Hits
Bought this album as part of a 2 albums for 10 pounds with no prior knowledge of the band at all but the cover art appealled to me. Listening to the album it is possible to tell that Iron Maiden were certainly a strong influence on the band, one or two guitar riffs are almost identical to those of earlier Maiden work. The album is a really good easy going album for what it is, one to listen to if you're a fan of Maiden or Dio as this is very much in the same vein.

Pfft, is a Greatest Hits album really that big of a risk?
Don't mind me...I do promote musical curiosity!

A greatest hits album is a bigger risk.
I mean, its like buying the Coldplay of a band. Its the most marketable bits and often ends up so.... bland.
Aww! I loved Qweensryche back in the day! Awesome!
