Audio Montage by Pieces

May 30th, 2006 2:13 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Create an audio montage by overlaying multiple audio tracks into one.

I'm very proud of this one. I've only used two tracks: W. H. Auden reading his poem (one of my all-time favorites), "As I Walked Out One Evening," and a riff that everyone should know. I don't know how Auden would have felt, but it sounds cool to me.

The repeats also fall between lines, never when Auden is speaking. Most actually fall between stanzas.

Please do listen.

This is way clever. The stalker song makes Auden's poem sooo much more creepy, and yet thematically it fits very well.

Very nice indeed. Too bad about the skipping sound between splices though.

Damn, you noticed. I tried to make them as teensy as possible, but they just wouldn't completely go away.
