Audio Tour Part 1 by GYØ Daryl

January 2nd, 2008 12:04 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Record an audio file of yourself in a strange place you like. Describe the place and why you like it in some detail. Explicitly state where you are.

Yes, I know I am really bad at talking about stuff, but there you go. I chose wilkinsons as my strange place, as it is a household store but however, it IS the breeding ground and Place of purchase of the mighty pear (and their apple-like enemy). Also nearly all household cleaners etc are all from here, so I think they deserve a place on the GY0 audio tour.

Go wikinson WOOO!

Wilkinsons in Wood Green sells fermenting bins. FACT.
I bought my first ever ironing board in Wilkinsons. They also have pick'n'mix.
I don't think you have nearly scratched the surface of the monolithic presence in our lives.
You may also want to compare the atmosphere with the soul vacuum which is TK Maxx. I once cried in TK Maxx purely because I was in TK Maxx.

Why? Why did you cry? Were they tears of joy, or sadness?

I think soul vacuum gives it away.

I agree, TKMaxx is fail cunningly arranged in shop form.

No TK Maxx is a church jumble sale thinly disguised as a shop.

If you ask a member of staff "Do you have this in any other sizes?" they implode.

Truth.
