Contents of a Character's Wallet by Leonid Brezjnev

November 1st, 2006 12:58 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: In Jack Finney's short story, "Contents of a Dead Man's Pocket", the character - clinging to the side of a building - imagines what the world will think of him if they only have the contents of his pockets to consider.

Empty your pockets, your wallet, your purse out onto a table- tally the contents and tell us what the world would think of you, if they had only those effects to consider. Then, decide upon one thing to add to the contents of your pockets, your wallet, or your purse, which will better enunciate the truth of your person to the world.

well on the photo's and on the video, broadcasted on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3Ft6In2evk) you can see the contents of my wallet.

I think that if someone would see my wallet I think he/she must think I'm one of the 'normal' guys. I go to dancing lessons at Eppink (everyone does that) I have nothing special in my wallet.
Except for two things: My V&D pass and my scouting card.
My V&D pass is just an evidence that I work at a multinational. I think in every big city in Holland there's a V&D.
Secondly, my scouting pass: well, people must think I'm one of those, how do you call it, Donald Duck's nephews look-a-like.
Mabey, when I rethink it, you might think I'm one of those guys who do the best for the community and dedicate their life especially for others. I hate those sort of people...
No Scouting, for me, is just Friday eve, starting at 5:00 pm then, at 6:00 pm the first little children come, and we do games and such. Then, at 8:00 pm the real scouting starts. Beer starts to appear and music gets tuned up high. That's the real scouting only few know about :)

all the guys in Holland know how to dance? that's really cool. I never would have suspected that.
