1) Plant is fennel (Foeniculum vulgare)

3) Yes, Rachel, Vladypus and Vector were ingesting this plant...Oh!..other people..um..Egyptians, Romans and Knights. Used in Absinthe, by Prometheus to steal fire and as a popular insect replant.
Vlad is not added to this task because only two people are allowed and he isnt on the video. Speaking of video, here is Vector and Rachel eating it (rachel spits it out)

Awww... Rachel. I guess that anti-peer-pressure stuff just didn't take. See, that's what happens when you succumb. ;-)
