One of the characters I play in a superhero role-playing game called Champions has powers that are light based. She transforms into a spectrum of different colored light to use her powers or when she becomes overly excited. Which is very often and very easy to do. She can blast the enemies with different colored lights, each having a different affect. She can also turn herself into a hologram, letting most attacks pass harmlessly through her.
