Stitch N Bitch by Elenlin

INSTRUCTIONS: Learn to knit or crochet. Knit together an object that expresses a strongly held opinion. Mail your creation to someone, preferably the person about whose actions you have that opinion.

This task is the follow up to http://sf0.org/Elenlin/Leave-Clues/, though I worked this one up first.
I wanted to crochet something to give to my boyfriend to tell him that I loved him. My first thought was to make him a heart, but wasn't sure if that was quite right for him. As I was thinking about it, I recalled telling him that I was going to get him flowers when he moved into his new apartment. So I says to myself "Self, you could crochet him a rose". After all, roses are a good expression of love. I went hunting through my yarn until I found a nice shade of red I liked. I also found a nice yellow. So I says to myself "Self, you should use yellow and red together, since red roses stand for love and yellow for friendship". And myself responses "Self, that's a fine idea."
After finishing it, I tried to decide the best way to get it to him, seeing as I'm a poor college student and to cheap to actually mail it. I was just going to sneak in to him apartment and leave it but found the task Leave Clues, and you'll just have to look at that one for the rest.
