The vict- er...targe-....hmm....let's say unwilling and unwitting associate for this task was easily chosen. The player who introduced me to the SF0 world and helped me along the way.

He was also chosen as he is the only other active player for in a VERY wide radius.

Sorry Haberley, it's you.

Infiltration was simple, despite us living 20 miles apart in two different cities- on the premise of sharing some of my wealth of files with him, I gained access to his room. With Haberley gone on an errand downstairs, I seized my chance.

There was one item I was determined to try and relieve him of- one of his lighters, his barbed wire Zippo if possible. And there it was, casually standing upright on the chest of drawers. Not for long, it was soon stealthily secreted in my bag.

Then a thought occured to me, an idea for the art masterpiece I would create. Rather than paint or the digital mediums, I wanted to create a piece from hand, using pencils and pens.

Pens? Such as this nice graphics tablet pen sitting so innocently on top of his computer tower....? It was soon keeping the lighter company in my bag.


Days later, I sat down to draw. For what is a lighter without a flame, and a pen without a hand to guide it....




What I find most interesting- Haberley and I discussed this task the day I 'borrowed' the objects. And the next day, whe he joked about taking an object from my house in Birmingham to do this same task.

When you read this- ha ha, beat you to it.
But your objects are safe and will be returned to you in the week.
