I decided to try to get from some plastic, manufactured teen sensation to the Dead Kenedys. I was hindered in this quest by the simple fact that I don't know the names of any of the crap bands the kids listen to these days. The first name that popped into my head was "Ashlee Simpson." She'll have to do.

Dammit, FoxyChachi suggested that Ashlee Simpson might not be as poppy as I thought. I'll start with Jessica Simpson instead.
