Donation!

Actually, I wouldn't count the 20 towards Anti-Consumer, that was a donation. It wasn't necessary for completing a task. (But it was nice of you!)

I don't think that money that is necessary to completing a task should count. If the task is to pay a brifge toll, that shouldn't count. Likewise, donating should neither get, nor deprive you of points. It's just the right thing to do. But if you decide that to wear a crazy outfit you have to go buy one that should count. I think.

I definitely agree that the crazy outfit should count. While I see your point about the toll, personally I think it should count. My reasoning is that what's deemed "necessary" to complete a task is a concept that could be twisted to, er, nefarious interpretation. I'm inclined to err on the side of "no exceptions" in that case to prevent such things.

Since my JttEotN donation wasn't integral to the completion of the task, I agree with you. But rather than take it off, I'll just go complete the "Give Back" task and we can argue about whether donating should be counted. :)

I'll also take this chance to say that the donation was most definitely necessary. I've gotten many hours of entertainment, laughter, and food for thought from my collaborations with Score, and I foresee many more in the future. I'm in a position where I can contribute to the Paragoogle/SF0 "Sex, Drugs, and Rock & Roll" Fund to say "Thanks, guys!" So I do so happily.
