A little while ago I was contacted by Evilmofo and Shazbot:

-- care to locate buried treasure ?

-- all the clues you should need appear here

-- extra clue, if that isnt enough...
-- a police encounter occured at the location of the treasure

All I had to go on was the 3 pictures from the link in the message and the picture from Shazbot's run-in with police task.

I ended up scouring Treasue Island for a few hours before If found the sites from the pictures. After two hours of searching the manmade section, I learned that that it was on the natural section of the island. It was starting to get dark, so I had to hurry. I drove all over that natural/hilly section of the island as fast as safely possibly. Occasionally I parked to run along hills and fences, looking for the sign. Finally I saw it. The hiding hole was near the sign from the picture. In the end I was rewarded with a rare and valuable treasure inside an ammo box.

PS There seems to be some sort of cat sanctuary on the top of Treasure Island. At the very top of the hill, there is visitor parking for the coast guard. In the back of the lot the is a small cat "house" and plenty of food in bowls nearby. And the lot is overrun with cats.
