Erik, Salim, and Anna and I went out for drinks at Gorden Biersch on the Embarcadero. We had two glasses of their summer ale sent to a lovely couple at a few tables over from us. We said they were from "Fred and Wilma." The couple looked very confused when the waiter brought them over. And looked even more confused as they stared at our table trying to figure out why we had bought them beers. The four of us finished our drinks and as we headed out the couple waved and thanked us. I like to think they will enjoy having a little serendipity added to their evening.
