Language "Encryption" by Franciscus Rebro

April 18th, 2006 11:03 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Using online translation tools, "encrypt" some text (that you write or find) by translating it multiple times into different languages and then back into English.

For instance, "The drive to play San Francisco Zero" translated from English to German to French to Italian to English again becomes "The order of Saint game Francisco".

Language encryption: from English, to German, to Italian, and back to English again, "My grandfather is joining a heavy metal band!" became "My grandfather connects a volume of the heavy metal!!"

It's amazing how incorrect some of these things are - I asked BK today how snail is said in Korean-
and boyee, it's nothing like "wow", which seems to become snail everytime babelfish runs it.
