Do you remember that San Francisco Freak? You know... that one that you spotted shortly after arriving that made you say, "Ahhh... it's good to be back in SF"? Well, today I was that freak... at least for a little while.

I went to SFO at lunchtime today to pick up a (familiar) friend. I didn't want her to miss me, so I decided to wear something that would stand out a little bit. As expected, I received many odd looks and a few compliments and nods. The best part of the experience was overhearing a woman her cell phone telling the person the other end, "Do you see the man in orange? bright orange? I'm standing near him". Not only was I a freak, but I was a landmark.
