SF0 Mentor: A Noob No More by The Gathering Storm, Hey Man Jackson

INSTRUCTIONS: This task cannot be completed by players above level 2.

Choose a player level 5 or higher whose completions you admire. Message them introducing yourself, and request that they serve as your SF0 Mentor for the completion of one task that can be done at your level. Work in consultation/collaboration with them in the completing of the task, follow their advice. Go big.

11/2/07:

So far... asked Mink (Meta Tron), who graciously accepted my plea for assistance.

Task to complete currently being decided upon.

Argh! Realized what a massive n00b I am! I asked the exact same person to mentor me as the previous praxinator! I feel doom and shame! Hopefully by the end of this, I will be able to say
"n00b no more."

But not yet. Not yet...

Meta Tron and I passed a few ideas back and forth regarding Documenting Future. Having someone to collaborate with feels very helpful at this stage in my character's progress. Thank you M x!

After sleeping on it - am ready to post proof of Documenting Future.

Mink humbly insists she's had no influence on my completion of Documenting Future. I humbly disagree.
Perhaps it is difficult for an experienced player to mentally revisit the praxis paralysis resulting from the vast sense of openness upon embarking on a new task.
That paralysis I did feel, and therefore credit Mink as a necessary sounding board for my completion of Documenting Future. As noted above, I cannot add her as a collaborator on this task, as she already mentored Suzy Derkins. Am following Yellow Bear's advice to add her as a collaborator on Documenting Future.



Then who is The Gathering Storm!!??

Seeing as how Mink has been the mentor for many of these completions, I feel this an apt time to take credit as Mink's mentor.

Aaayye! I've been looking for that, but I got it confused with Ziggy C.'s instructional video and couldn't find it. I strongly recommend that new players read this guide.

Thanks Darkaardvark! Though it must be said that main Mouse was my mentor. For better or worse he brought me into this game and showed me how to play.
