INSTRUCTIONS: Write a children's story (illustrations included). Read it to a child.

As soon as looked at this task I immediately thought of a project I did in 8th grade. We had to write a children’s story and read it to the second graders. For my story I wrote a fractured fairy tale (go, Rocky and Bullwinkle). I didn’t want to write my story after any of the tales used on the fractured fairy tale shows, since I didn’t want to risk copying their ideas, so I created my own fairy tale and then “fractured” it. The way I decided would be the easiest to write it was to first come up with the pun at the end and write the story around the pun.

When I read the story to the second graders I was not sure whether or not they did not get the jokes or were just too intimated to laugh. When I asked them if they thought something was funny they nodded but nothing else. Oh well, hopefully you people well like it more. Enjoy. (If you do not get the joke at the end say it aloud.)
Sorry some of the pictures did not come out right.
