I bring to you a variation of the Cat O' Nine Tails. This vicious weapon, used mainly in the Roman Navy, was first known as the Captain's Daughter (being that it was only used under captain's permission). It was not, contrary to its infamous reputation, the most feared punishment device, as it was usually made out of rope, not leather. It wasn't until the weapon traveled to Haiti in the 1500's that blades were attached to the end.
I now bring you that feared torture device, simplified by its rudimentary construction out of 5 paper clips, three staples, 3 inches of Scotch tape, and a broken rubber band.
