Make It Work by a actinism torrents joins

INSTRUCTIONS: Make it work.

A couple of weeks ago I bought a Netgear DG834N router,it worked fine for a bit and it had n capability stuff which sounded good.It stopped working recently and I was dissapointed by this.I tried to take it back but they said to contact Netgear which would of taken months to get sorted so I tried to fix it myself.
I understand a fair amount about electricity gizmos but not much about transistors capacitor whatevers,so I tried a not so pragmatic, spiritual approach to get it to work again.I gathered up various electrical devices around my house and held a seance to bring it back to lifemain_photo-006253726.jpgmain_photo-006453727.jpg

this went on for 24 hours , my devices tried to connect to it GUI IP style sending it message of love and support
more mundane household utilities saw what was going on and get involved toomain_photo-006753728.jpg

maybe it was all too much so i let my router get some rest and recouperate

Time to wake it up and make a determined effort to get it to work,I thought maybe shock therapy and some brute force would scare it into working

i tried plugging it in to see if my technical know how had done the job,i did this by my sink with lots of water around to make it more excitingmain_photo-007453733.jpg

Result :

I kinda failed my task.

Technically, it did not work, but the seance was a great idea, so you've got my vote.

I'm torn between wanting to vote for the attempts, and not voting for not working...

It's the SFØ problem, what comes first: Completing the task well or the enjoyment of the community?

Is failing a task awesomely > completing a task badly?

I'm voting for it, I like it.

It may depend partly on how many points a task is worth...for a 250 point task, the task had better be completed....for 15 points, awesome failure might be okay.

Vote for hilarious (albeit unsuccessful) tries at making it work.

A computer seance and a purple hob.

Vote. And in a way it kind of worked if you wanted a router-shaped coaster.
