Make A Task: The Task by Vector Jimenex

June 3rd, 2006 4:16 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Make a task for the game San Francisco Zero. To add a task:

1) Go to your character page. You know, your home base (click your photo in the upper right once you're logged in).

2) Look in the second row of navigation up at the top. Click "add task".

3) You'll be taken to a form where you can name and describe your task, give it a location in SF (if it's location-based), assign it to one of the five groups (or "general"), and suggest a required score and the number of points the task awards.

4) You can add more than one task - they'll all be listed on your home page - but you can only get these 30 points once.

Once you add your task, you can complete this task. We'll make this automatic one of these days...

Similar to the Derive, except w/a car and a competitive element. I must give credit to Joe McKay as he told me him and his sister made this game up

The task is played as follows:
You and another person get in a car, you think of a place relatively close that you want to goto, they also think of a place they want to go. Neither of you reveals your destination and the point of the game is to guess the other persons destination or get to your own. At every intersection, you take turns either saying "Straight" or "left", while making the appropriate vehicular maneuvers. The trick is to not give away where your going to exactly, and maybe even starting by going in the opposite direction.

Game need not be played w/a car and can easily be done on foot, but the original is in a car.

Do me a fav and post this with the "Create a New Task" form. Click "Current Task" in your player nav (top right) to get to it.
