CIA by anthony catanzaro

June 29th, 2006 1:15 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Tell your parents that you are joining the CIA. If you don't have parents, tell someone close to you.

I don't have parents. They worked for the CIA ( I was told) and then killed on a mission in Manitoba. But I do have family.

My sweet gullible son. Age 9. I fully led him into it, but with his love of spys and wantnot, he was primed.
I said, "(Insert son's name here), do you know what the CIA is?"
He replied, "Yeah, but I don't know what the letters stand for." So I told him, and then I told him it was very secret stuff.
"Oh" he said
"And do you realize," I insinuated," that I couldn't tell you if I were a member of the CIA, because it would have to be a secret?"
And a light brightened in his eyes, and he looked at me sidelong.
"Ohhhh" he said, "And when I get older maybe I could be in the CIA too, and you wouldn't know either..."
"Right," I said, "Maybe..."
