Being bored at work, I've been listening to Pandora, the fabulous music-finding and playing service. One of my stations is titled "Blues Ain't Nothin'" and is perfect for the kind of grey, rainy day we're having in Mpls today. Since I'm feeling blue, and the blues are a universal feeling, I decided to translate that classic blues phrase, "I've been downhearted, baby, ever since the day we met."

Translation went from English -> Russian -> French -> Spanish -> German -> Japanese -> English using various services. The results are recorded below:

Russian: Я был унылым, ребенок, начиная со дня, который мы встретили.

French: J'étais triste, l'enfant, à partir du jour, qui nous avons rencontré.

Spanish: Yo estaba triste, el niño, a partir del día, que encontramos.

German: Ich war traurig, der Junge, ab dem Tag, daß wir fanden.

Japanese: 私は悲しかった、 男の子、 日から始まって、 私達は見つけたこと。

English: I was sad, the boy, starting from day, we found.
