Object Annotation by Sombrero Guy

When i found out that my favourite local shop was closing, I thought I had better make my feelings clear by using this object annotation method.
The shop is a food and confectionary store on Boscome High Street, down the road from where I live, called Weigh and Save. A picture I took of it is below.
On this, its last day of business, I visited one last time, with a note I had prepared in advance:
I had also left a little message on the back for anyone who dared to try removing the note:
However, this was not strictly true as I was going to stick it on a window, so the people inside the store would be able to see the back.
I went with my sister, who wanted to do the task but has strangely decided not to create an SF0 account. First we went inside to buy everything that was left (we didn't quite succeed, although with 50% reductions on everything we got close). The first thing I noticed when we went in was how empty the shop was. Its usual massive range of products had been reduced to a small row of tubs, most of them almost empty. The worst moment came when I saw the tub for my favourite product, and looked inside. This is what I saw:
Yes, it was empty! AAAARGH!!!!!
Anyway, after our shopping, we came out having spent over £6 between us. Quite impressive when you consider this would have been over £12 at usual prices.
As a last tribute to show our respect and sense of loss, we dutifully stuck our notes on the window of the store.
One thing is for certain. After the ruin of the Wilkinson 'pick & mix', and now this, Boscombe High Street will never be the same again...

It's always a pity when good shops close, but this one was my favourite. So it was even more of a pity...

Don't forget Tesco's Express. They're opening everywhere!

I love bulk food stores, so I'm very sad that yours closed. What a great time to do this completion! Glad you did it.
We have a shopping arcade that keeps raising it's rent so the shops close. The council want to refurbish it, and it's put a lot of pound stores and breakfast cafés out of business. Luckily there are a few shops refusing to budge, so the council are renovating around them!
