I've been thinking about returning for a while, and this seems to be a good way to start!
From now, my visits to this site will be more frequent. I shall stop lurking and start speaking again. Because you're absolutely right; if everyone comments on things, the community will come back to life. I have missed this community in the time I've been away. It's about time I returned and actually earned this senator badge of mine...
I have to say, you are pretty much the most awesome person I have ever met.
Who took the picture?
I have indeed tried (and failed) to describe SFØ to people in words. Even describing it to other players would admittedly be very difficult.
I think, however, that the logo would only help in the latter case, as you can show it to a player and they will associate it with all the experiences and memories this site has given them. Non-players would simply have no idea what it represents to those who do play.
It is unfortunate that, when describing SFØ to non-players, neither words nor pictures seem to be able to describe it.
When I think about it, though, I can see your point that I have indeed been trying to put words to a picture for the majority of the task, and I have contradicted myself.

Ah, but is it LØVE, or is it just a selfish desire of my sentimentality to see a return to the way things were in the past? I sometimes wonder if I'm actually pestering people who have got all they want from SFØ and have moved on to other things...
