I recently uploaded a photo of a friend with an incredibly elastic face doing a monkey impression. Partial results: Albert Einstein, William Faulkner, Marcel Proust, Virginia Woolf. No joke.
Adrian Piper, performance/conceptual artist, took a photograph of herself (I think naked) in the mirror after reading Kant for hours. She said she thought she was disintegrating. I think she's a philosophy professor now.
He thought it was funny. He was a tiny bit worried about the knife, but mostly he felt anxious for the musk ox.
Who says the metaphors are unintentional? I intend all possible metaphors to be attached to this.
Man, I had no idea the piratey monkies could be exploited as a uniform demographic/voting bloc. I will attempt to further exploit this with my Sexually Originated Art task.
Rob, I thought this was awesome. I like task completions that have the potential to fulfill multiple task definitions; this one made me think of "Information Insertion."
Alas, I had left my cell phone in SF (stupidly thinking, why would I need this in Europe?), and tend not to travel with my computer, so I had no way of getting ahold of anyone. I was too tired to really want to see anyone anyway--I probably would have come off incredibly cranky and weird, so be happy that you Minnesota types didn't get contacted. Also, I slept remarkably well despite (because of?) the circumstances since I was so wiped out.
The "Freedom o Expression Booth" was just something I encountered on the way to my gym mat and snapped a picture of b/c I thought it was funny, and that SF0ers would appreciate as well...Perhaps this would be a good place for a task completion? I'm actually pretty sure I've seen these in other airports as well.
I can't believe I missed this for silly old Los Angeles. Next time, I expect to be advised of cube-rodeo potential before I leave for the weekend.
I think the connection between me and these women may be the light hitting the right side of our faces (except for Eva, I can't answer for her.)
