INSTRUCTIONS: The goal of this task is to drop a Hamilton (with style).

You have one $10 bill to sustain you over three days. Try to stretch the $10 as far as you can. Spend all $10. Take photos, video or audio of the spending and enjoying.

It will be easier than you think. After three days perhaps you'll find that you don't need money to do what you want.

I came, I saw, I lasted under 2 hours. The Great State of Texas isn't know for its public transportation and I needed to get to another city (San Antonio). Because we're a *real state* with actual land mass, the cities are spaced a bit apart. I started running low on gas a few miles into the trip. I needed gas so filled up $51 on one tank. If we were in the F250, it would have been more like $80. I wish we were in a large truck because trucks are cool. So all in all I lasted under 2 hours.

I did learn that I do in fact need more than a ten spot -- which is to not have to crowd into a people-filled box on wheels (known to the locals as a "bus") to get around. Because that sucks.

I think the moral of the task is to actually "try" and have $10 last you for three days... and a little proof never hurt anyone... give us at least a receipt or something, maybe a pic of the "cool" F250?

I'm not saying this isn't a lot harder in some places than it is in others, but come on, man - 45 points for two hours?

It was actually more than two hours. It was 7 or 8 hours over 158 miles. The vehicle wasn't a truck, it was my car... but I wish I had a truck. I'm making the trip again tomorrow in a Chrevy Crew Cab which maybe gets 10 mpg on a good day with the wind pushing you downhill. I'll take a picture of that beast. In any case, the whole concept of spending $10 (or some arbitrary amount) is all relative. I have been to places where $10 is a king's ransom, and have been to others where it's chump change. Places are different, as is the value of money.
