Natural -> Artificial by GYØ Vicki

INSTRUCTIONS: Create an artificial version of a natural product.

After spending the weekend decorating my room, I managed to end up with a pile of CDs that were either past it, or frankly rubbish. I also realised that the thing my room lacked was a mirror.
Reflections are, in my opinion, natural things. Rivers and the such have been used for checking your reflection for years. So what better thing to do with my CDs than to make them into a retro mirror thing? The first thing to do was to sort out the discs - some were more mirror-like and shiny than others. After sorting them into two piles: nice, shiny ones for the top, so I could actually see into them, and the duller, cheaper CDs at the bottom, just to make it bigger.
Now, to string them together, I just used white thread wrapped inbetween the holes a couple of times to make them stronger. After doing four rows of eight, and many loose threads and missing scissors later, I had a mirror!

As usual, excuse the lack of writeup - look at the photos!
