Player Portrait by GYØ Vicki

June 9th, 2008 12:42 PM / Location: 52.574687,1.7168390

INSTRUCTIONS: Paint a fellow player - we'd really prefer that you use their player photo as your model, though. Any medium/style, but let us know what you end up doing with it.

First, an apology

Some gummies were harmed in the making of this task (actually, only one was harmed in the making, the rest were harmed afterwards...*Vicki hides from the gummies with the kitchen knife*)

GUMMY TIME!

After walking around in the rain all day, as a result of Ben's trickery and our completion of A Clue, he attempted to bribe me and Tom with the prospect of gummies.

Athough many were nommed at that point between the six of us (though many green gummies decided to hang around in Ben's green coat pocket...interesting...), I restrained the urge to eat them all, and took them home with me. With the days tasking over, I felt like doing some more. Via the en-masse SkypeChat (press the History button and you will die), I bugged Tom for ideas for what to do with the leftover gummies. And well, you can kinda guessed what he said...

So, reaching into my bag, I withdrew the bag of gummies, and emptied them out. As some of you may have guessed, I'm a vegetarian, but unfortunately, a very bad vegetarian, due to there being pork gelatine in the gummies (oops...).

I then arranged them into their prospective four teams:

The Red Team

The Orange Team

The Yellow Team
The Green Team (unfortunately no white team as they weren't included in the pack =[).
Next...time for some actual player portraits!

I have to take my figurative hat off to Evil Sugar, gummies are not easy to work with, especially drunk gummies that can't stand up and have uneven legs. And the scale of things is so tiny! The crown was a bugger to cut out, and unfortunately I hadn't discovered the macro setting on my camera, so some of the shots are pretty blurry.

Here are some of my favourites:

There's more below...

EAT THEM

EAT THEM

The rest of Ben's message read: "The gummies are displeased, as revenge, eat them" So we did.

The gummies do not endorse the nomming of gummies. They are, however, pleased that you have replicated their player photographs.
