Find something. Write about it. by Lizard Boy

I recently went for a short nightime hike with some friends, and we found this sign. It was outside a house that was a little way up a trail, before the trail actually turned from pavement into dirt. Presumably the people are talking about their own overly friendly dog, which they don't want following random strangers. We all thought it was brilliant, humorous, and informative. Which made me think, wouldn't it be awesome if almost all signs had some sort of amusement value to them? Or even just took themselves a little less seriously? "Please don't tread on the grass, it doesn't appreciate being squished." "Warning, people entering this property may be assaulted by overly friendly grandmother." "San Francisco: 347 miles (feels like 500)" Stuff like that.
Chase, intimidate, etc? Hmmmm (evil laughter/rubbing of hands together)
