Motion Sickness by Joshua Kelly

INSTRUCTIONS: Spend the night on a boat! To those seeking loopholes: you must actually be on the water - from there you may do as you like (fish, don't fish, sing to the moon...).

In Annapolis, MD there is a man. He is the Riverkeeper for the Sevrin River. He owns a boat. He is my Uncle.

The boat is called Bluebell, although they don't like the name it is easier to leave it on there. The boat is 34' in lenght and wide enough to support a good sized cabin, fore-cabin, head and rear sleeping area. It is tied onto the

(The Head is the bathroom for you non-pirate types, although I just peed off the side at night.)

Three nights I slept in the rear bedroom, it fit a queen sized bed underneath the upper deck and there is a tiny window. However when it is 75 degrees at night with 50% humidity, this copartment is less then appealing, and it smells like gasoline.

The fourth night, between 1am and my flight home at 8am, I slept above deck under a canopy. There was a lightening storm that night, but I am told boats are built to deal with lightning in clever ways. I was wide awake at dawn, because the sun was up and it started to pour rain.

I'm afraid I didn't take any pictures of my sleeping space. My two brother's slept on this boat as well. I have uploaded some photos of us enjoying a lesiurly trip up the chesapeake.
