I like the idea, but your forgery wold not pass inspection by even the least of Rasputin Affecianados. Those in Rasputin's Cult would easily point out that The Mad Monk's Member was said to be at least 11 inches long -- AFTER MUMMIFICATION -- and his daughter Marie claimed (how she would have known this I really don't want to contemplate) it as 13 inches long in turgid life.

So your sculpture, while certainly looking authentically "petrified wood", could not belong to Rasputin.

JTony, I agree that it's disturbing that his daughter weighed in on this, but I also think it's hilarious that this is one of the bits of trivia in your head :)

Vote for going back over a praxis and making it better.

I vote for the return as well, and Rongo Rongo... you'd be ever so surprised at what lies between these ears sometimes. Particularly ashamed at the amount of 80's movie trivia I can spew when asked appropriate questions.

Vote for improving stuff that was already not a bad effort to begin with.

I'm beginning to think that "In Turgid Life" would make a fantastic name for a task. I'm afraid to contemplate what that task might involve, however.
