I found this egg holder in my fridge. I know that it as been there since I moved in, but I didn’t consciously acknowledge its existence. It’s a prime example of modernism as applied to architecture. It adopts a very machine-like aesthetic while rejecting any unnecessary ornamentation. A simplification of form, it’s beauty is contained in it’s elimination of unnecessary detail.
