Wear Your Art As Your Sleeve by KenDragon

July 11th, 2006 10:48 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: The University of Aesthematics has no bookstore with which to gouge you, and no signiture apparel with which to cover. But should you choose to make your membership known, we urge you to make/modify a shirt or other torso-covering garment that proclaims your allegiance. Don't forget to post the "plans" for your garment, as well as a depiction of the completed item.

Here is my attempt to create some wearable art for my University. I did terribly. I also know nothing of screen printing, which I'm sure would have worked much, much better as my paint bled into the fabric and ruined the art. Here's my attempt.

I used my stencil for my player portrait for the art.

The portrait looks really cool.

Spraypaint + Stencil [Punk rock!] also works for legible lettering if you can't do the silkscreen. You have to be careful not to put to much on though or else it will bleed.
