Player Portrait by KenDragon

July 2nd, 2006 8:33 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Paint a fellow player - we'd really prefer that you use their player photo as your model, though. Any medium/style, but let us know what you end up doing with it.

well, mine didn't turn out as well as I liked. I'm no real artist, but I was doing my damnedest to fake it. (I just had to check my spelling of damnedest.) So what I did was took a photo of mella hyperborea blow it up, photoshop effect it to make it easier to use. Then printed it out.

Then I took my exacto and created a cutout of the form I wanted. Then I took paint and painted through it. Here's the final results. You'll see my practice one - the first one - worked the best.
the practice one. the best one,
The template broke down very quickly and you can see how much worse it became with each successive printing. By the time I was finished, she almost comes across as a balding man
the last one,

I'm done now, so I guess that is what really counts.
