Finger painting never gets old by Luai Lashire

I could have painted a portrait of myself, but instead I chose to take the instructions very literally. I painted myself.
I painted my hand first, and made a hand print on paper.
Next I painted my foot, and managed to get a decent shot:

After applying my foot to the paper, I added some nice fingerprints.

But painting on the paper (even by painting myself first and then pressing myself to the paper) was a little too boring for me. So, feeling adventurous, I took my little bin of paints into the bathroom to use the mirror.
When I came out again, I looked like this:

I was inspired by the use of paint in many cultures to inspire fear into the enemy or to encode symbolic meanings to those who knew what they meant. My painting didn't have any meaning, but I did use themes common to certain groups, such as the eyebrow dots.
All in all I had a very good time completing this task.

I much enjoy the conflict between the humility of your pose and the desire to strike fear into your enemy. It makes for an interesting photo.
