Work is So Strange by Luai Lashire

I have only just recently started working at our local Goodwill. I've been on the job for about two and a half weeks. I work in the back, processing clothing donations. Basically we rip open big bags of clothes, sort them, check them for stains/holes/etc. and then throw them in bins for the taggers to work on. Naturally in a job like this all sorts of strange things may be uncovered, simply because humans have odd ideas about what types of things should be donated to a thrift store. For example, last week I found a wooden incense holder in the shape of a mangled foot, and today I found a weird knitted pair of overalls. One of my colleagues found an entire bag of dog kibble. So far, the most astonishing (disgusting?) thing I've found was a jacket that had an entire ant colony living in it, complete with eggs. I'm also told that people find illegal drugs in coats and pant pockets fairly frequently, although I've yet to find any myself.
I don't know if these examples count as strange enough for this task... but when I saw it, I kind of had to share, since "weird" goes with the territory in this job.
Sorry for no pictures. :(

nothing says "relaxing spiritual scent" to me like a mangled foot.
That is weird! And thank you for telling us about it (i never would have guessed)
Also, welcome to the game!
Feel free to message if you have any questions/quandaries.
Much love
