Leave Clues by MsGoblinPants Extraordinaire

To thank my parents for the use of their car, I bought a selection of delectable jams. Just handing them over seemed too easy, so instead I forced them to follow a trail of clues to get their prize. This was the first clue:
It led to the next clue, hidden in a flower pot in the garage (where they keep bikes and power tools).
This led to the attic, where dolls and old clothes have been packed away.
This final clue led them to the top of the refrigerator, where there's a perpetual stash of bread and rolls. But hidden behind those was the prize--jam!
The riddles weren't the only clues. I also wanted to leave subtle hints about what the final prize would be. So on the back of each riddle (which were written on paper at most two inches square) I painted a little picture. Each was a type of jam that they'd eventually find, although at the time they assumed they were just decoration. There was dandelion jam:

Strawberry-rhubarb jam:
And my favorite jam of all (and the best painting), spicy pear jam:

To make the treasure hunt just a bit more special, I curled each riddle into a tiny wooden box and wrapped each one with ribbon:

The hunt happened too quickly for me to get pictures of it, but the end result was when the real fun happened. We all sat around and ate the jams on toast points!. Nom nom nom!
