Potted Plant Distribution by Murdoc, Poisøn Lake

February 19th, 2009 9:00 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Acquire a small potted plant. Leave the plant in a store, cafe, or a location of your choosing that has lack of potted plants.

Ms. Murdoc & I have been preparing for this task for a while. We first procured a number of inexpensive succulents & cacti as well as some thrifted planting vessels.

The plants & vessels were then merged together in a much anticipated & enjoyed potting ceremony.

& we chose a local coffee shop as our first location.main_04275663.jpg

Murdoc Steathily placed the plant while I distracted the barista with my need for chai. She chose a lovely spot next to an oddly placed pay phone.main_04075667.jpg

We took the next one to the food court at the mall, as its ugly pink vase perfectly matched the '80's decor.

Having distributed two of our plants & realizing that most places of interest were closing (as evidenced by the fact that we entered the mall) we decided to head home.

they shall likely be placed in plant foster homes over the next couple days, updates are imminent.

I hope the plants enjoy their new home! (Though Mr. Cactus might appreciate a re-potting and a say in the matter of vase choice.)

you're probably right about Mr. Cactus. That vase was actually a gift I wanted to dispose of in a nondestructive way...& some people are fans of unattractive pink things (i guess) so hopefully one of them will find him.
