I've been pondering how to go about this task for quite a while. I didn't want to use any object I already knew well, I wanted a brand new companion. Looking around my room this past week I found that I had already formed intimate relationships with most of my belongings... "what to do..." I thought. Perhaps deepen my connection with one of the less loved objects? Or find a new object and carry it with me until a relationship formed? I just couldn't bring myself to force a thing like this and, little did I know, I wouldn't have to...

She came into my life...

Last night I asked J. if I could borrow one of her hats, it was chilly out and we were going to do the Night Photography task. She brought her in to me and pulled her down over my head. Instantly, I felt this tingly warmth all about me gulliver, I looked in the mirror and was stunned to see how beautiful yet modest she was... I quickly turned away, I'm shy...

We roamed the neighborhood and she trimmed the top of my world with this simple black fuzz. Soon, that warm tingle that had originated at my head had spread throughout my body all the way to my feet... I felt like a true pixie who could leap into the air and land spinning on my left big toe... I could do anything with her atop my golden-orange locks.

We spent the night together, what a glorious night it was...

But, alas, the reality of our situation must set in sometime... though our love is a deep, strong and true one it is destined to come to an end. Unfortunately, since she is not mine, our time will be up very soon... I'm wearing her now, as I type this, and we're saying our reluctant goodbyes... J. will come calling for her soon.
