it seems like you're good at finding pictures...

How much worse could it get?

a brilliantly ironic completion of an appropriate task. I don't think it could get much worse. you are filling up the praxis very quickly, perhaps you are an X herder? they may become your friend very soon. Votes for irony!

This proof has been flagged by several of your fellow players (for the benefit of all, flags are anonymous). As such, it has been automatically disapproved. Most likely, they've posted comments explaining why they're displeased. If you think you may be the victim of a bug, injustice, or a gang of Rubins, hit up the contact page.

. . . it looks to me like Mr. Namsil took all these photos himself.

The EXIF data show they were all taken with the same camera: a FUJIFILM FinePix A345.

Unfortunately, they were all taken before be joined SF0. The most recent, the "bedroom scene," is from 2006/11/16 21:59:24. That means in addition to interpreting tasks in unexciting ways he's guilty of retro-tasking.

But, he's not guilty of taking other people's images and using them as his own. I expected to find every photo on google, but as far as I can tell, they aren't online anywhere.

Mr. Namsil, I for one hope that you stick around. Some of these photos are pretty cool, and the fact that you created them yourself instead of just copying them from the web goes a long way toward redeeming your character in my eyes.

Today you've learned the hard way that "show us an old photo that is vaguely connected to X" isn't really a suitable completion for the task, "do X." That doesn't mean you aren't welcome here, or that we won't happily reward you when you fulfill a task as specified.

Best,
Loki

F.Y.I. I took this picture at car-hendge, in Alliance NE., whilst on a road trip. I didn’t know everyone would throw a hissy-fit if I retroactively proved I had accomplished an ambiguous and pointless so-called “task”. At least give me some credit for trying. Sheesh.

You learn by doing, and so have learned.

The ambiguity breeds creativity.

The pointlessness is the point.

And a task by any other name would be as silly.

Credit you have earned, brought to you by Loki. Welcome to SF0, and I hope to see some truly epic completions from you in the future. If you want advice from fellow players on what makes a completion good, feel free to message any of us.

Indeed.

Thanks for the pointers. Part of my problem is that I lost my software for uploading from my camera (FinePix) as my main system has crashed I will have to obtain a copy of this software to upload on my backup system. I wanted to get some easy points by retroactively completing some tasks.
I have learned a grave lesson indeed... from now on I will only post text proofs, until I can get a camera setup that allows me to upload current pics.

Loki, you are a genius. May you never be my stalker.

Grey Ghost, you're welcome here as far as I'm concerned! I hate it when bitter comments put potentially good players off.

I wish you great Drive in the future...
