Produce Fear In Another Person. by Grey Ghost

December 6th, 2007 3:27 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Produce fear in another person.

My friend recently started working for Crocs Inc. after losing his previous job at McData when it was bought out by Brocade Inc. I called him up and told him I read an article that Crocs was being bought out by Adidas. He was all like “no way you’re messing with me!” I told him I would e-mail him the (non-existent) news article.

I quickly found a business article about a buyout and changed some of the numbers and company names. I then sent him this as an e-mail. (see attachment)

He really freaked out and got scared he was going to loose his cushy new job. The joke almost went too far when he was saying he was going to call his boss to find out what was going on.

I felt I had to let him in on the joke at that time…

He was scared..

He was probably scared because he thought he might loose his job through the buyout like he did last time his company got boughht out...
