Sunrise by Beetle bomb

So this task was full of rediculous
1. I don't live in San Francisco
2. The highest point in Chicago isn't open at sunrise. neither is the second tallest.
More problems presented themselves as I continued.
So I says to my self, I says "you can't take a picture of San Francisco at Sunrise, so why not Chicago at Sunset?"
"great idea" I says to my self.
so I get on the internet and look up the time of impending sunset 4:31 it says.
As I had to go down town this afternoon anyway this seemed like the perfect oportunity.
3. As soon as you have somewhere you need to be, there will be at least two trains running in the opposite direction that you want to go, along with a much longer then average wait.
this was not a huge problem, but the sunset waits for no man and was cause for initial worry.
this delay also provided me with the opportunity to complete the "Tell me a joke" challange.
I get off the El and head tward the Sears tower. it is now 3:57 pm. The tension is building.
4. the price to go to the top of a large buisness building and look around has now risen to $13.00!!! which is much more expensive then I remember it being when I was 7 which I do believe was the last time I was there. So I pay my thirteen dollars and look at my watch. it is now 4:11.
I then proceed through the maze of advertising to a small theatre.
5. There is a sign on the wall which says "the next Above Chicago presentation will begin in 4 minutes" There is then a 12 minute presentation on the history of the Sears Tower. Which is all well and good, but I've got a sunset to catch!
There is then another maze and elevator ride up to the observation deck which I arrive at at 4:28 with just enough time to catch the last bit of sunset.

oops, cause I was stupid and didn't see that one. mmm, so do I unpost this and repost under that? however, the western most point of Chicago would not be that spectacular of a sight for a sunset.

You still get a vote from me for defying the SF-centric task requirements.
(I don't live there either.)

Don't move it, I like how you are doing things differently here!
Reject SF! (nah, actually, SF is awesome. even though i've never been anywhere near there :D)
Not to be a downer, but there IS a task called "Sunset." Why not submit this completion under that task instead?
