Leave Clues by Alex Reese

May 15th, 2008 4:31 PM / Location: 45.509995,-122.7678

INSTRUCTIONS: Leave clues.

For this task I went ahead and made a treasure hunt leading people all around my high school campus with home-baked cookies as the rewarding motivator. I placed the first clue in one of the student lounges so that a lot of people would see it and want to participate in the hunt. After that the clues were placed in less obvious locations.

These locations were as follows:
1. Student Lounge (the obvious one)
2. In a potted shrub outside the music building
3. On the roof of a parking structure that is next to my school
4. In the same student lounge as the first clue (except hidden)
5. In the bushes between two tennis courts
6. At the base of a giant plexiglass mushroom on campus
7. And the cookies were hidden in an unlocked locker

(I also uploaded pics of the locations)

It was interesting to see people actually participate in the treasure hunt, I liked that it broke the usual routine that students usually get stuck in at my school.

Why thank you, it did take a while to set up.
