Ask a Dumb Question by Kitty Stryker

June 18th, 2007 6:11 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: During a conversation, when someone brings up a word, concept, reference, or person that you don't know but would normally pretend to know about, ask them about it.

Actually, normally when people talk about either math or science, I act like I have an idea of what they're saying because I don't want to admit that I have terrible knowledge of either of those. But instead of pretending I know, I actually asked for an explanation of the math I was trying to follow and getting lost about... and ended up with knowledge about the subject that's stuck with me. See photo for clarity as to how an art/English girl learned about trig.
