Cool Memories by Ziggy C.
April 26th, 2007 12:04 PMIdaho (IPA: /aɪ.də.hoʊ/) is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. The state's capital and largest city is Boise. Residents are called "Idahoans." Idaho was admitted to the Union on July 3, 1890, as the 43rd state.

Here's the deal. Despite what you might have heard, Idaho does not exist. It is a Government conspiracy. There is no actual Idaho. In the survey I administered questioning various so called "experiences" with Idaho, it seems no one has ever been to Idaho. Those who do claim to have been to Idaho were actually implanted with a chip in their brains that fabricate memories of their experience was the so-called Idaho, when in actuality, the Government took that time to plant the chip.

You heard it from me first. Don't believe their lies. Anyone who claims to have been to Idaho has been brainwashed. Stay aware, stay righteous, and stay strong, San Francisco.
UPDATE, 5/20: In a strange twist of fate, it turns out my father is heading to "Idaho" for a "business trip" for a couple of days. I must act fast, before the Government gets to him too! More evidence to come, perhaps. Keep an eye out!

Thanks, KH! It took a good three hours to create.
Did I say create? I meant recover. It took me three hours to recover from the bowels of the government.
o.o
Your investigative journalism skills are top notch! But I'm not convinced that the whole truth has yet been uncovered. I think you should turn your critical eye toward Wyoming, I have long had my suspicions, and I am not yet convinced.
Has it occurred to you that entire geographic regions might not exist? I mean, nothing interesting has ever come out of the midwest, right? Maybe, beyond iowa and kansas not existing as states, there's actually zero space between the area we usually think of as colorado and that we usually think of as indiana.
Hm. Good points to both of you. I might have to update this with conjectures about your theories, Lizard Boy and YellowBear.
(I should be able to cut Wyoming out of the picture. However, it will take quite a bit of effort and creative photoshopping to create a stable map without the entire midwest. Getting rid of Idaho on THE TRUTH map was hard enough on its own. I'll see what I can do, though...)
Er, did you hear something? I didn't. >_>
This is hilarious. Strangely, on h2g2 about a decade ago, I wrote an article about how Utah doesn't exist- that it's a vast government conspiracy, and that any one claiming to have been there was either a) on acid, or b) deluded by an extravagant government ploy. Some girl from Utah got incredibly pissed off that I'd suggest her state did not exist. She was very... patriotic.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who knows about the black hole states.
Also, I'd like to claim to being one of the nothing interestings coming out of the midwest.
I've actually heard the government forced Nickelodeon to cancelInvader Zim because it carried a rider signal that caused the Idaho Chip to short out.
Sooo... Does this mean I should withdraw my application to BYU Idaho?
So they have been lying to us!!!!! Now they will probably say that there octopuses in trees and that Belgium exists!
I always thought the West Coast didn't exist and that Wisconsin was basically nothing. It's nice to see some similar ideas.
But there really are octopi in trees.
I often forget that Idaho exists. Further proof.
It's true. All I can remember now about Idaho is that I spent a lot of time sunning myself beside a large, pristine alpine lake surrounded by thick pine forests. What I want to know, is when did they implant the chip? I remember driving towards Idaho from Spokane.... it must have been in the trailer park!
