Graph of Desire by Red Star

April 9th, 2008 4:42 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Generate a graph of your desires.

Being super, I have found that I desire very little. But some super introspection have led me to dig deep and find what it is that I truly desire. I was surprised by what I found out.

I almost didn't vote on this, but thanks to Someone having done so, I took a second look and realized how cool it is.

I would love to see you expand on this... I think it would be fun for you to do and definitely fun for me to see and would likely be a shplanked task if you pushed it to an illogical conclusion (maybe a comic strip/page/book??).

Interesting... Have you ever read 'Watchmen'?

I can appreciate that your desire for fighting villainy is so great. I appreciate also that your desire for adventure and doing good deeds makes the chart and that these three are as big a part as they are.

What concerns me is that your desires for training, and for protecting your identity are so small. Training is the smallest desire you list. Protecting your identity is about more than keeping yourself out of danger, Red Star. Do you have a family? This combined with the size of your desire for training, and adventure make you seem a little irresponsible.

The desire for your own comic book is as great as the desire for protecting your identity and training combined.

Thank you for all of your comments and votes fellow citizens.

Citizen CMtheGonzalez while I do see the need for training and do it every day, I honestly have no desire for it, but I do it anyway because I know it'll make me better at the other things I desire more. Thank you for your concern.

Put that way, it makes sense. Should I assume the same is true for the desire to keep your secret identity?

Yes, citizen CMtheGonzalez, that extrapolation would not be without merit.
